The artist proposes a fragmented view of Chile’s territory, represented through the cultivation of different types of filamentous fungi in 15 glass containers. The way in which these fungi propagate themselves draws each one of the country’s 15 regions. Inside the containers, the fungi are preserved in resin; both materials have gradually mutated over time. This project was developed jointly with the San Joaquin Medical Center’s Microbiology Laboratory.
