This piece is part of the collection of mediation pieces that the Museum usually presents in each of its apparitions, with the purpose of familiarizing audiences with a few basic concepts regarding the Fungi Kingdom as we know it today. The Museum has an ongoing relationship with the Biomaterials Fabrication Laboratory at Universidad Catolica de Chile, where different investigations are looking into new materials made with fungal components. Their advances and discoveries are displayed at the Museum’s apparitions.
